Hi, I’m Jessica a first-generation Latina with a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry, a heart for Jesus, and a passion for encouraging others through writing. I’m married to my incredible husband, Gilbert, and we share our home with our dog, champ, most recently with the precious gift of our twin girls, Elianna and Zara.

I come from a close-knit family who has always points me back to Christ. My parents have been extraordinary examples of faith, and I’m grateful for my sister and two brothers, who remind me how perfectly God knows what we need.

I was born and raised in sunny North San Diego, Vista CA to be exact. A place I’ll always call home. Now, after marrying Gilbert, I live in the Inland Empire, thankful for the beauty and blessings of both places being just a drive apart. I love the beach, coffee shops, books, and traveling.

Writing has always been my happy place, a dream I’ve carried since I was a teenager. This blog was born from one of the hardest seasons of my life, in memory of my baby girl Maia and my beloved grandfather, whose faith anchored our family. Through Jesus, my heart has been made whole again, and I pray these words inspire you in whatever season you’re walking through.
